Wow, the snow flakes keep falling here. I’m hoping for a full week of regularly scheduled schoo. That means plenty of warm crock pot meals and soups at our house. I love the convenience of pulling out a frozen quart bag and emptying it in my crock pot after lunch, press high and we’re ready to eat at 5:30 or 6 {how to extend crock pot cook time}.
Here’s what’s on our menu this week:
- Crock Pot Chicken Broccoli and Brown Rice {how to freeze in single servings}, salad
- Chicken Fajita Tacos {how to freeze chicken fajita in bulk}, crock pot refried beans
- Whole wheat pancakes with make ahead blueberry compote {how to make pancake mix}, turkey bacon and scrambled eggs
- Black Bean Nacho Burgers {new recipe}, carrot sticks, sweet potatoes
- Greek Chicken pizza and salad {food processor pizza dough}
- Crock Pot Pepperoni Pizza pasta, salad
- Easy cheese sauce with sausage on nachos, salad
What are you freezer cooking this week?
Can I just say how very much I LOVE your weekly menu posts!?!! They are wonderful and truly help and inspire me. My family loves your recipes and I recommend your site constantly. Thank you so much. God Bless!
Oh thank you for sharing this Trish I’ve been slow to post new recipes lately, but I always make sure I plan my weekly freezer cooking.
What a blessing that I found this blog. I have four children…we have a small food budget for a family of 6 and I’m really trying to make healthier meals. Thank you for sharing Freezer and crockpot recipes…I didnt have the extra $ to subscribe to the websites that offer meal plans.
Glad you’re joining us. I have four also!
