Weekend Freezer Cooking {Bulk Marinated Chicken and Beef}

Now that my I have floors and school starts for my four kiddos, I better do a little or a lot of freezer cooking. Here’s what I made this weekend from left to right. Visit my marinated chicken in bulk to see how I prepare different meats.

  • Fajita Chicken
  • Asian Honey Chicken
  • Fajita Chicken
  • Italian Chicken
  • Marinated Steak Sub Meat (new recipe coming this week)
  • Asian Honey Chicken Kabobs

I’ve been marinating enough meat for a double meal. I’ll grill or cook it all and freeze the cooked meat for quicker meals in the future. It’s like fast food, only healthier. I make grilled convenience chicken often.

Be on the lookout for the steak sub marinade to make this delish sub on a busy night. I know, yummy, right?

My husband picked up a basket of peaches over the weekend.

We like everything in bulk, including peaches. Here’s what I made with 5 of these extra large peaches. I modified this recipe with a lot less sugar and used freshly ground white whole wheat flour.

IMG_2750Doesn’t this picture make you drool? The cobbler is so delicious and fresh tasting. I’ll be making a few more cobblers with all of our peaches. YAY!

School started today and all six of us are off running in different directions. Two teachers and four students attending elementary, middle school and high school. Imagine our schedule and you can imagine why I must do a lot of freezer cooking throughout the year to stay sane and eat healthy.

Here’s to a new school year. Blessings to you all. Enjoy your school and work week.
