Would you make your own ice cream if you were able to in about thirty minutes? We have started making different versions, thanks to our new Cusinart Automatic Frozen Yogurt-Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker.
I purchased this red one from Amazon using some of our points and it’s been a fantastic investment. This machine makes 1-1/2 quarts which is enough for our family of six and sometimes we have a littleleftovers to freeze.
Our first basic ice cream was a huge hit with my husband. He enjoyed the the creaminess and fluffy texture thanks to the heavy cream. It can be frozen for a firmer texture if you like. The wonderful thing about vanilla is the ability to top it with anything you have on hand.
Think of all the stir-in options such as seasonal summer fruit or homemade cookies, chocolate bars, etc. I’ll leave that up to you. We’re just enjoying the real vanilla ice cream made with four simple ingredients.
