Who needs a fork or syrup when you have your waffle loaded this way. It’s smothered in natural peanut butter which oozes into the nooks and crannies and topped with sliced bananas. Hold just like toast, eating one-handed out the door (I know some of you can relate). There’s no more excuses for NOT having a healthy breakfast when you have freezer waffles handy. They’re convenient just like store-bought frozen waffles, only made with love without preservatives or additives, and ingredients you can pronounce.
Either my oldest children or I typically make these about once a month or every six week and we double our recipe to ensure lots of waffles whenever we want to have breakfast for dinner. It’s an easy fix for kiddos to have a healthy snack, especially if you serve it with protein like peanut butter. Have you tried cream cheese with all fruit blueberry jam? Think cheesecake.
