Crock Pot Pepperoni Pizza Pasta {Giveaway closed}

pep pasta (1)

Though we could have our Three Pie Pizza Kit every week, I’ve had my eye on this pepperoni pizza pasta recipe for some time. There’s one problem though, I don’t like to take time to boil my pasta before crocking it. So in the crock pot it goes along with some other pizza goodies, like sauce, cheese, pepperoni and pasta WITHOUT BOILING IT. Quite frankly, it is totally versatile to all the toppings you enjoy on your pizza. I really want to add black olives to my next batch.

Fun Shaped Pasta

And because I have a great supply of pasta compliments of The Pasta Shoppe, it was so difficult to choose.  If you’ve never heard of The Pasta Shoppe, then you must take a look around and see all the fun, delightful shapes they offer via Fun Pasta Fundraising at your school, preschool, local organization and more. They provide everything you need to get started here. Personally, I think the Collegiate pastas are an easy way to gift the hard to buy for person, male or female, which is exactly why I’ve tucked the Gamecock pasta in my family’s stockings for Christmas before. Wouldn’t they make a great presentation in a gourmet cook’s gift basket for Christmas or birthdays?

Crock Pot Pepperoni Pizza Pasta

  • 3 cups uncooked pasta
  • 3 cups (24 ounces) storebought or homemade marinara sauce or pizza sauce, divided four ways
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives, optional
  • 4 ounces pepperoni, divided three ways (I had mini-pepperoni on hand)
  • 1 cup mozzarella, shredded
  • 15 oz. ricotta cheese, divided three ways
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning (optional)

  1. Spray a crock pot with cooking spray. Place about 1/2 cup sauce on the bottom. Add about 1 cup pasta, part of the pepperoni and a third of the ricotta . Top with sauce.
  2. Repeat the layers twice ending with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian Seasoning and black olives if desired.
  3. Crock about 3 hours on high or until pasta is al dente. Remove from heat and rest for 10 minutes. The pasta will continue to cook.

What “extra” toppings will you crock in your pepperoni pizza pasta?

This post contains affiliate links and sponsored by The Pasta Shoppe. The opinions of the pasta are my own.

The winners of the pasta giveaway are comment, 18, 21 and 25. I’ll contact you via email. Congratulations.

    I love the idea of the collegiate pasta as a gift. We have neighbors that are huge Penn state fans so I think that’s something I might do this year. (I checked to make sure they had those teams and they do) We are big VA Tech fans so I may keep in mind for us as well!
