Breakfast Bar Ministry Meal

 Blessing Others Through Freezer Food

Menu: Blender Breakfast casserole made with eggs, spinach, ham, cheese and onions and pancakes with syrup. (approximately 40 pancakes and 4 egg casseroles, syrup-enough to feed 35 women and children)

This is a frugal, easy meal to feed a large group at your church, home, play date, women or men’s event. Everything can be made in advance like we did. It’s versatile using different add-ins for the casserole and add-ons for the pancakes. Have I talked you into yet?

Luke 6:38 (New International Version)

38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

God’s Word is true. It never ceases to amaze me whenever I give to others, I receive a blessing in return. Not always as a food blessing, but in other ways.

Each month, I share a freezer cooking menu with a group of ladies at our church in NC on our sister site, Cook and Play. You can visit this site for ministry ideas. This was our May menu for a local children and women’s shelter. Our group of women cook, freeze and serve. The women at the shelter receive a blessing of a hot cooked meal and I’m sure the women who helped prepare this menu receive a blessing in some other way because God is true to His Word.

How about you? Have you ever blessed others in a food shelter with freezer cooking? Prayerfully consider starting a freezer cooking group in your area and bless others. Prepare a meal for your family while you make a meal for others. It’s a double blessing for all.
