Allergy-Friendly Recipes for Families {Kiwi Cookbook Giveaway}

Whether your family has allergies or not, Kiwi offers a beautiful, healthy cookbook brimming with great ideas. I’ve chosen half of a dozen to try with my family without allergies. We have the spicy mexican shrimp skewers on our menu this week.

I’ve also bookmarked cheesy stuffed pizza burgers, sunset pops, saucy pears and butternut squash, teriyaki turkey sliders and spiced carrot fries. I like the the colored tabs on the pages of all the recipes for easy allergy identification. There’s a section on party recipes, which is always a challenge for kiddos with allergies. It’s definitely family-oriented with “cooking with kids” ideas sprinkled throughout the cookbook. I’m most impressed with the vivid colors, presentation, photography and healthy ingredients listed. This reminds me of a whole foods cooking adventure because you’ll find fresh ingredients listed and nothing canned or preserved, which that’s the way our family cooks.

Though my family, with no allergies, would not need to tackle recipes with abundant gluten-free flours, I still found the cookbook to be pleasing to the eye with easy, appealing recipes we’re trying very soon. I’ll keep you posted and share my freezer adaptations of the recipes.

Now that I’ve wet your palette for some delicious healthy food, would you like a cookbook for your family? One blessed reader will receive a copy from Moms Meet bloggers. Just leave a comment sharing whether your family has an allergy or not and why you would like this cookbook. For an extra entry, like MOAM on facebook or indicate you already do. We have over a thousand likes who want to share Christ through freezer cooking!

This cookbook was provided by kiwimagazine. You can purchase at Amazon. In addition, there are a few examples of the recipes online at Allergy Friendly Cooking.

This giveaway will end Friday. I’ll identify a winner on Monday. Please message me your complete mailing address on our facebook page to obtain your fun cookbook.  Have a blessed week, my friends.

    I would love a chance to win this cookbook because lately I feel like I’m in a dinner rut and I could use some fresh new ideas. Also, I love that it has cooking w/ kids recipes because my 4 year old loves to help me in the kitchen so this would def help w/ making her more excited to eat dinner. Thank you!

    While no one in my home has allergies, I am always lookign for a great new cookbook to try out. Also, I’m sure the allergy concious recipes would be great options to take to church potlucks- and I’m always taking a few big dishes because I love to cook.

    We have a dairy allergy in our house. My little guy, almost 2, which is hard because we eat A LOT of cheese. Well, we did. I’m always on the lookout for some good, easy, kid-friendly, dairy-free recipes.

    My family does not have any allergies. My daughter did at one time have a nut allergy but has grown out of it. I would love this cookbook because I love trying new recipes.
