Pesto Pizza

I’m on a kick with pesto because I found an awesome buy on fresh basil at a local honest stand and I made freezer pesto. I’m going to savor summer sweet pesto all winter long. This pesto pizza is the first of my creations using the delicious pesto I made two weeks ago. Since this is a freezer cooking educational blog, I will acquaint you with all the freezer ingredients I use for this 15-minute pesto pizza–seriously.

Pesto Pizza (Layer the following ingredients, grill on low or bake at 450 degrees 10 minutes)

Sink your teeth into summer all year around.
Try using store-bought whole wheat pitas or flatbread if you’re in a pinch for time. However, do try the 5-minute dough and batch cook flatbread in a skillet on the stove-top. Make it a cook and play date, like I did.
