We’re ringing in the warm weather by grilling meats, poultry, fries, pizza and vegetables. I like to char my sweet peppers strips to bring out the flavor, cut the broccoli into small florets and add some halved onion rings. Olive oil or a combination of oil and a pat a butter with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper really bring out the fresh taste. Our easy way to grill is open face on a piece of foil sprayed with cooking spray. The vegetables are drizzled with oil and grilled on medium high just until tender.
When we grill outdoors, I like to grill the entire meal, including the bread. I’ll reheat a loaf of Artisan Bread in foil on the top rack. We’ll have the main meat, vegetables and a side of fresh fruit. It’s so easy to grill when you have the meat already thawing in the marinade.
