Crock pot Beef Tips with Mushroom Gravy {freezer meal}

Can beef tips with gravy be made without all the fuss of browning gravy over the stove top? Why yes it is easy using the crock pot and better yet, a frozen crock pot meal made in advance. This is another easy peasy prep in a gallon bag and freeze in an upright compact position for easier dumping. Slice it open the frozen meal with kitchen shears on crockin’ day and crock for 8 hours. Add the sour cream the last thirty minutes to an hour and mushrooms if you like. You’ll have a Sunday meal on a weekday if you’ve done your freezer cooking homework :)

    Just to clarify, does the beef and seasonings go into the same gallon bag with the flour and water mixture, or does it go into a separate gallon bag?

      Everything goes into the bag except the mushrooms and sour cream. Freeze the mush separately and add sour cream the last hour.

      Yes I’d like to know the answer to that as well, I’d like to freeze one and make one recipe when I make this.
